Poster Printing Instructions

When you sign up for a poster appointment you only need to schedule 30 minutes on the calendar.
The poster printer can print 44" x 72". Popular sizes are 44" x 44" (no need to worry about orientation of poster when printing)
Charges:
- White background (and minimal photos), $6.00 per square foot.
- Color background (or numerous photos), $6.50 per square foot.
Please bring speedtype when you come for you poster printing appointment.
How to prepare your poster:
- One of your poster's dimensions must be less than 44 inches. For example, all of these will work:(Please see above concerning poster size to make your poster printing experience go more smoothly)
- 36" x 39"
- 56" x 43"
- 72" x 44" (this is our maximum printable size)
- For best results, use Adobe Illustrator or Microsoft Powerpoint (our favorite).
- Before you begin, create your blank document and set your planned size ("Page Setup" in Powerpoint, "Document Properties" in Illustrator).
- Leave room on the margins.
- Check your images, we often see poor results when people use low resolution images downloaded from some site on the web! Remember, your poster will be around ten times larger when printed than what you see on your computer screen.
